My Solar DIY Story

Hi,
My name is Mike Richards.
Where I am from, summers can be scorching hot with temperatures going over 100 degrees regularly. With small kids around, you have to turn on the airconditioning eventhough I try to keep it to a minimum, both for my wallet and for the environment.

I hated living like that.

I mean, my electricity bills were going through the roof.
I cared about the environment, and want to do my bit, yet I saw myself using all this power.
I knew there had to be a better way.

After lots of research and trying out different solutions. I found what works for me.

I am convinced that, if we want to keep this earth going, solar energy is one of the renewable energy sources of the future.
